Description
Two-semester credits, 30 hours (30 lectures)
- Students learn how medications directly affect dialysis treatment and the various drugs used to treat kidney diseases and dialysis.
- By the end of this course, students will describe the dialyzability of pharmaceuticals and their uses during dialysis.
Prerequisites: HD101, HD102, HD103, HD104, HD105
Current dialysis staff may not use this course for continuing education hours; It is part of a complete hemodialysis technician course.
