Why IBWE as your certification board?
The International Board of Wound Experts (IBWE ) is a comprehensive 100% online program that offers four distinct certifications in wound management’s art and practices from a global perspective. The IBWE has a comprehensive wound expert certification developed for Physicians ( MD, DPM, DO ) WECP. Followed by a doctorate prepared practitioner certification ( DNP, DPT, Pharm D, Ph.D.) WECD. This continues with a complete wound expert certification established for Bachelor and Master’s level educated practitioners ( RN, PT, ) WEC, and concludes with a uniquely designed certification for those non-clinicians in the wound management arena. (Researchers, marketing and sales person, with associate, bachelor, master or doctorate level educated ) WENC.
The IBWE will grant Diplomate status to those who successfully pass The International Wound Experts examination and will be eligible to use the title after their name of WECP, WECD, WEC, and WENC respectably.
